building permit submitted

A milestone day. Jay submitted our plans to the city of Black Diamond for the building permit. Yay!

spring 2014 at the lake

We spent the day at the lake picking up winter debris. The daffodils I planted last fall are blooming along our north fence line. Annie spent most of the day on a cable because we are fence-less on two sides. New neighbors remodeling across the lake to the north are taking down many very large firs mostly near the street but we watched the removal of one at lakeside. Big job.

The "Boot" (north end of Lake Sawyer) is getting a new look! It should be very different by this time next year with our house and a new house next to us on the south.
